So, i've been working now for about six months and when i first started i was about 250 or so.  The issue though lately is that i've been losing weight, where i'm at around 235 or so, and i believe it is due to the lack of appetite.  I'm only 23, so i'm active, out running almost every other day, lifting as well, but for the days i work, i usually eat one meal a day, and during work we aren't given a break since i'm in management.

Are you male or female and what is your height? Also, how many calories per day are you eating/drinking? If you don't know, track it for a week to make sure that you are getting enough.

Also, if you are working out less than you were before and you're not eating right, then you may be losing muscle mass (which will cause you to lose weight). Make sure that you get enough protein in your diet (drink a protein shake if you have to). You may also want to get your blood pressure checked. It could be due to stress as well. If you are irritable with mood swings it could be a thyroid issue too.

Some of these are more likely than others, but in general people don't just randomly lose 15 lbs, so something is going on. If you can't figure it out, you might consider a little visit with your doctor.

First off, eating once a day is never a good idea. You should always start the day with some carbs and protien. You just function better.
You didn't say how fast the weight came off. Losing 15 pounds in 6 Months of working out, is not a great feat. Unless you're trying to gain weight?
I had a layoff after Double Hernia surgery, and it took Months to start losing the extra weight I gained sitting around. Now I can drink Beer and lose weight.  Grin I think it just took a while for my metabolism to get back to peak once resuming working out. Maybe your metabolism is faster now too?

your not balancing your mineral / carb to activity intake  - get a blood glucose meter and stay within confines -  you will loose weight and form if yo don't balance these thing because your blood wont be able to carry enough oxy and nutrients if your BGL is too high or to low  - Hope this is of use to you and other readers - midisoul

regardless of gaining or losing weight, you need to eat more than once a day.  Pack fruits with you if you really don't have time to eat.  Snacking on something is better than nothing!
