Anyone here done that? Are you open about your fetish to the outside world? What kind of reactions did you get? Do you regret it or did it open new doors? Both?

You should do it at the right time. Don't just randomly say it. I too have been into girls wearing socks for my whole life but not everyone is going to get it. I do though, it's the look and it's the pheromones for me. Worst case scenerio, someone looks at you like your weird, says some stupid things to you, and moves on. In my case, I have an "I don't give a fuck" personality and I can turn into a real bastard also. It's about how you present yourself as well. People are very judgemental and can be real assholes.

Don't do it. Fetish stuff, regardless of how innocuous it might seem, is sexual, and openly discussing aspects of your sexuality is not generally considered polite in public. If you're in a fet meet up group? Sure, as long as everyone is cool with you sharing. With a partner? Of course, enjoy your fetish stuff in the privacy of your home. But just having that out in the open?? Like on social media and whatever else?? Bad look, you're gonna turn people away.

it's all about context. if you're talking to people who also have fetishes, it's fine to disclose yours. try not to bring them up unprompted or too early in a relationship, if you have patience and use common sense (and your fetish isn't too extreme) I have found most women are willing to at least try if not support it fully. good luck!
