Society is on the brink of collapse as the infection takes over. With only Wonderstrike, and sometimes Alias capable of stopping infected people without them awakening stronger via a Wonder-Blast, the odds are heavily against the blonde heroine. As the infection goes global, only Wonder-blasts are able to take infected out of action without them awakening stronger. This is an impossible burden Wonderstrike to carry, but it doesn't stop the ever-more desperate pleas reaching her communicator. She seeks refuge in an abandoned building, but the infected are everywhere and she is ambushed. Spent of her power for the time-being, she must fight the beast with her trained skills, despite exhaustion. Just as it looks like her end could be near, she is saved by a young woman in catsuit and mask. Her name is Felina. She has been tracking Wonderstrike and wishes to remove her from the fight. Despite the hopeless odds, Wonderstrike feels duty-bound, and we have an impasse. What happens?
