If you use all these tools, you should be able to ensure that your post is not a repost.

Please remember that if you found a match, you should post your links as a reply to that thread, and NOT START A NEW THREAD.

Here is the main guide on how to ensure your new post is not a repost

1)  Do you know how to do a local search?
    how to reduce the search results by using local board searches and Portal searches ($2)
    This will cut down the amount of results you have to check.

2) The search engine will not accept single characters in a search
    eg "Amateur girl gets fucked with a beer bottle" would FAIL!

3) The search engine uses "-" as a NOT search
    eg "Strapon-Discipline" would result in a search for "strapon" and ignore all results with "Discipline" in them.

So how do you search for posts like the two above?

[1] Use the most uncommon terms.
     Common terms like "the" and "and" or "femdom" will produce many results.
     In case (2) you would do a local search for "beer bottle". If no results, try "beerbottle", then "beer".
    
[2] Remove "-"' and "_"'s from your search.
     In case (3) do a local search for "Strapon discipline". If no results, repeat the local search for "discipline"

[3] Do a search for the exact clip name.
     eg "fm_129" (the underscore "_" is included in the search).

[4] If you know the site the clip came from, do a search for the site name.
     eg "meninpain", "strapontryouts" "DominatrixAnnabelle"

[5] If any of the models are named, or you know the name of the model, do a local search for the name.
     eg "Harmony Rose" (don't forget to search for "Harmony" either).

[6] The underscore character "_" does NOT work as a space.
So a search for "strapon_discipline" will search for an exact match on that search string.

[7] You should also try and do a search by filesize. say the clip is 129.71MB try and do a local search or a custom search on the board you are posting on for "129". See the topics in this post for how to do local and custom searches.


Other points to note about the search engine:

Certain characters are 'special' to the search engine, and will change how the search engine is used:

'.' works like a space. A search for "wild.spaces" will find instances of "wild spaces"

'-' works as a logical NOT, which means hard-sex will search for topics with 'hard' but not 'sex'.

'?' is used as a single character wildcard. A search for 'rag?' will find topics with words like rags, rage.

'*' is a multi-character wildcard. A search for 'rag*' would find topics with words like rage, rags, ragged, raggedy, etc.

If all of those resulted in no match, it is fairly safe to assume your post is not a repost, and you can start a new thread.

This is how I teach moderators to search for reposts.

How to do a Local Search and Portal Search

Portal Search
Go to the board index
http://85.17.187.83/saff/index.php

Scroll down to find the portal you wish to search in.

In this case we'll use the Femdom Portal

At the right hand side you will see a search bar. Enter your search terms there.

Local Search

This is a search on a specific board.

Go to the board you wish to search on.

At the top of the page, your profile may look like this:

If it is, click the "+" button (yellow arrow on screen above). You should now see something like this:

Now you can see the local search bar. Use the drop down to change from "Entire Forum" to "This board"

Finally add your search terms and click "search"

First of all you need to add the "add to search bar" extension to your system which can be found at:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-to-search-bar/

Now click the search button on the top red bar of SAFF

now uncheck the 'check all' button as shown below

click the '+' Choose a board to search in, or search all to open up all the available boards.

select the board(s) you want as your custom search.(in this case I've picked all the bondage portal boards)
[attachment=4]

Now scroll back up to the top of the page, and right click on it
[attachment=5]

click the 'add to search bar' selection, and a window will come up asking you to name your search (I added Bondage Boards)

Now you can use the firefox search bar for your custom search (here is a screenshot of my system to show you)

You could create a custom search for a single board, or many boards, as you like.

If you are copy and pasting links from another forum or blog, you need to check if someone has not posted the links here already.

For some hosts you can search by the complete url, like depositfiles, and it will yield results if the link has been posted on SAFF.

Some sites you may have to search part of the url;

such as the numerical sequence of the url for rapidshare (
eg http://rapidshare.com/files/295055875/filename.wmv - search for 295055875

or
the alphanumeric part of the url for megaupload
eg http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Rz4YNJ7C - search for Rz4YNJ7C).

If you find a match, DO NOT POST THE CLIP/MOVIE. This is classed as a double post, and if found on the board, it will be trashed.

[6] символ подчеркивания "_" не работает
Так поиск "strapon_discipline" будет искать точное совпадение на этой строке поиска.

Если все эти меры не выявили совпадений с Вашим постов - Вы смело можете делать новый пост.
