Well, these are the final group matches in the CL and here they are:

FC Copenhagen vs Panathinaikos - The Danish champions are on the verge of qualifying for the Last 16 while the Greek champions are out of any UEFA competition, so the home team will be fully motivated to win the game. If they draw, they should hope that Rubin won't beat Barcelona in Spain. My prediction is a win for the home team. (1)

Barcelona vs Rubin - I should say the "former" Russian champions (because Zenit won this year's title) need a miracle to qualify. They face Barcelona in Spain and they do not have to lose and should hope that Copenhagen won't beat Panathinaikos. Anyway, my prediction is a win for Barcelona. (1)

Bursaspor vs Rangers - This will be interesting. Both teams are certain of 4th and 3rd places respectively, so the Turkish champions will try to get their first point(s) in the CL. I think Rangers will not be very motivated, while Bursa will try to win and make their fans happy. I bet on the home team. (1)

Manchester United vs Valencia - This will be the match of the day. Although both teams are guaranteed a place in the next phase, Valencia will try to win in order to secure the 1st place. Any win for them will be enough. United will try not to lose, and with the fact that they play in England, I guess it should not be that hard. But anything can happen. Valencia are in good form, while United struggle from time to time. Anyway, I predict that United will win. (1)

Benfica vs Schalke - The Portuguese champions are certain of 3rd place and EL, while Schalke have qualified for the next round of CL. The match takes place in Portugal and Benfica have the advantage. Schalke need to win to be certain of 1st place, but that will be hard. My prediction is a win for Benfica. (1)

Lyon vs Hapoel Tel Aviv - The French team is already guaranteed a spot in the Last 16, but they will surely want to finish 1st. That means they have to beat Hapoel, which should not be that hard. They will play in France and anything but win for Lyon will be surprising. I am almost sure that Lyon will grab the win. (1)

Werder vs Inter - This will be another interesting match. While Werder are out of any UEFA competition, Inter are already in the Last 16, but they need to overtake Tottenham to grab the 1st place. So this match will be interesting to watch and I'll predict a draw. (X)

Twente vs Tottenham - This match is almost the same like the other one. Twente are guaranteed a spot in the EL, while Tottenham are already through to the Last 16. If the English team wins, they will surely grab the 1st place. But my bet is a draw again. (X)

Milan vs Ajax - The Italian team is certain of 2nd place and Last 16, but Ajax are yet to qualify for the EL. They will almost certainly do, though. Milan will not be very motivated, while Ajax will try to win. I predict a win for Milan, though. (1)

Real Madrid vs Auxerre - The Spanish team is certain of 1st place and will be as motivated as Milan, but I doubt that Auxerre will have any chances here. They don't have to lose, but this will be hard, because they will play in Spain. So my prediction is a win for Real. (1)

Zilina vs Spartak Moscow - Everything in this group is decided, and I believe that Zilina will play just like Bursaspor - for the win. They will try to make their fans happy. Spartak lost it all when they were defeated by Marseille 3-0 in Russia. And now they have to play in the EL. My prediction is a draw. (X)

Marseille vs Chelsea - Both teams are certain of 2nd and 1st places respectively, and will probably not give 100%. That's what makes the match triple, anything can happen. I'll predict another draw here. (X)

Shakhtar Donetsk vs Sporting Braga - This will be very interesting match. I gotta say that Braga surprised me positively this season. They knocked out Sevilla first, qualified for the group stage, beat Partizan twice, and defeated Arsenal in Portugal. They have almost no experience. And they sure attracted a lot of fans. They need to win by 3 goals here in order to qualify, which will be very hard. I doubt that Shakhtar will miss their chance to win and I bet on them. (1)

Arsenal vs Partizan - This will be the easiest match to predict. Arsenal will undoubtedly win the game and qualify for the next phase with that. The question here is how many goals will they score ? (1)

Cluj vs Roma - The Romanian champions are out of any UEFA competition, while Roma need a point to be certain of 2nd place. I believe that the Italian team will be motivated to win and I'll predict it that way. (2)

Bayern vs Basel - The German champions are certain of 1st place and will probably not miss to win this game. Basel have a very slim chance to grab the 2nd place, so they will most probably go to the EL. I predict a win for Bayern. (1)

I can't believe Werden Bremen who badly struggling in the Bundesliga beat the title holders 3/0 . It's unreal really. Think that the Milanese team were a bit lax knowing that they are already qualified or something but that is not a team that is looking to defend it's title. On the other hand, Werden Bremen are out despite their good performance of last night which is a shame since they found their pace very late in teams. I believe the knockouts will be hot this year but so far Barcelona stands out to be the favourite to win the title this year but Bayern München is not bad and they have the motive to go for the title since their chance to win the Bundesliga has dropped significantly as they are behind the Borussia Dortmund by 17 points and they need a Biblical miracle to get the title.
However, despite all the old English champions Man U can turn the tides this year and grab the title since they have improved recently in the Premier League and as always they fight to the very end. However, will we actually see a champion from outside the Main 4 leagues in Europe i.e English, Spanish, Italian and German. That would be something really interesting to see. It definitely happens from time to time in the Euro League like Shakhtar of Ukraine for example but it ain't easy when we are speaking about the Championship League.
The real surprise of Last night were actually FC Copenhagen since that is the first time for the Danish team to reach this stage so it would interesting to see how they manage when things get more serious.
Thank you again my friend Kietel for the great effort and looking forward for your further updates and analysis.

Nah, it's not good, lol. But it's always difficult to predict the last group matches, because a lot of teams have already qualified and no one knows if they will play their 2nd team or if they will be motivated enough.

Here is what happened this week:

Twente - Tottenham  3-3 (Landzaat - 22nd minute pen., Rosales - 56th minute, Chadli - 64th minute; Wisgerhof - 12nd minute o.g., Defoe - 47th minute, Defoe - 59th minute) - Tottenham Hotspur sealed their place at the top of Champions League Group A with a curious 3-3 draw at FC Twente's De Grolsch Veste Stadium. Spurs found themselves ahead after 12 minutes courtesy of an unfortunate own-goal from defender Peter Wisgerhof, but Denny Landzaat levelled for the Dutch champions 10 minutes later from the penalty spot at the second attempt. Jermain Defoe then put Spurs back ahead right after the restart with his first ever goal in the Champions League proper before Twente again pulled level through Roberto Rosales. Defoe looked to have settled matters with his second of the evening, but a stunning free-kick from Nacer Chadli soon restored parity for a final time. Internazionale's 3-0 defeat at Werder Bremen confirms Spurs as winners of Group A, far exceeding any expectations they may have had going into the tournament for the first time.

Werder - Inter  3-0 (Prodl - 39th minute, Arnautovic - 49th minute, Pizarro - 88th minute) - Internazionale were forced to settle for second place in Champions League Group A after limping to a 3-0 defeat at bottom side Werder Bremen. The title holders needed to better the result of Tottenham Hotspur to clinch top spot but fell woefully short as Sebastian Prodl, Marko Arnautovic and a late strike from Claudio Pizarro earned Werder their first win of the competition. Inter were punished for a distinct lack of ambition and showed little sign of the form that saw them lift the Champions League trophy less than a year ago and the German side could and should have scored more. The Italians now face the prospect of a tricky last 16 fixture against one of Europe's giants while Werder are left to focus solely on their domestic fixtures. As one of several dead rubbers on the final matchday of the group phase, it seemed that both sides were happy to conform to such a billing in what was largely an uneventful first half. Having already secured qualification to the round of 16 and with the Club World Cup on the horizon, Inter could perhaps be excused for failing to show up and allowing the home side to dominate.

Lyon - Hapoel Tel Aviv  2-2 (Lopez - 62nd minute, Lacazette - 88th minute; Sahar - 63rd minute, Zehavy - 69th minute) - Lyon limped into the knockout stages of the Champions League and broke Hapoel Tel Aviv hearts with a 2-2 draw in Group B at Stade Gerland. Eran Zahavi’s wonderful overhead kick with 20 minutes looked to have sent Hapoel into the Europa League, after Ben Sahar had cancelled out Lisandro Lopez's opener. But Alexandre Lacazette’s equaliser with three minutes left meant Hapoel’s efforts were in vain and Benfica go through to the Europa League, despite losing 2-1 at home to Schalke. Although Zahavi’s goal may make the headlines Vincent Enyeama’s performance in the Hapoel goal was heroic in every sense. The Nigerian shot-stopper had a night to remember as he kept out Lyon’s lauded attack time-after-time.

Benfica - Schalke  1-2 (Luisao - 87th minute; Jurado - 19th minute, Howedes - 81st minute) - Schalke ran out Champions League Group B winners after a 2-1 victory over Benfica at the Estadio da Luz while the hosts scraped into the Europa League. Jurado and Benedikt Howedes were on target for the Bundesliga side as Luisao's 87th goal for the hosts proved too little too late. Benfica were looking to secure a place in the Europa League and they started the game well, dominating possession in the early stages and creating plenty of chances with Carlos Martins, Oscar Cardozo and Javier Saviola all shooting wide from good positions. Manuel Neuer, the German international goalkeeper was furious with his defence for allowing the home side so much space, but he was fortunate enough to not have to make a save due to Benfica’s inaccuracy in front of goal.

Manchester United - Valencia  1-1 (Anderson - 62nd minute; Pablo - 32nd minute) - Manchester United and Valencia played out an entertaining 1-1 Champions League draw at Old Trafford that saw the Premier League side win Group C and avoid a potential second-round clash with Barcelona or Real Madrid. United were chasing a group stage record of six clean sheets in six matches, but that was denied by a first-half strike from Pablo Hernandez following a dreadful mistake by Michael Carrick. Defeat would have seen Los Che win the group, but midfielder Anderson put paid to that threat with a poacher’s goal just after the hour mark to set up a finale that saw both sides push to win the game. The hosts gave a European debut to 20-year-old goalkeeper Ben Amos but were otherwise close to full strength, with Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov, Nani, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic present in sub-zero temperatures in the North West.

Bursaspor - Rangers  1-1 (Yildirim - 79th minute; Miller - 19th minute) - Bursaspor fought back to claim a 1-1 draw, and their first Champions League point, against Rangers at the Bursa Ataturk Stadium. Kenny Miller scored with Rangers' first shot of the game to give the visitors a 20th-minute lead in the Group C encounter, but relentless second-half pressure from Bursaspor finally told with just 10 minutes remaining in match, Sercan Yildirim stabbing the equaliser home from close range. Rangers - already guaranteed third place in the group and a Europa League berth - used the dead rubber in Turkey to hand 18-year-old defender Darren Cole his first-team debut. Midfielder Kyle Hutton, 19, also started for the Gers - with Walter Smith opting to blood his young players against a Bursaspor side still searching for their first Champions League point. The hosts dominated the early possession, passing the ball with relative ease around the middle of the pitch, under little pressure from a Rangers side apparently intent on sitting back and waiting for a chance to counter.

Barcelona - Rubin  2-0 (Fontas - 51st minute, Vazquez - 82nd minute) - Barcelona's second string eased to a 2-0 win over Rubin Kazan at the Camp Nou as the Russian side's hopes of qualifying for the knockout phase of the Champions League came to an end. Andreu Fontas and Victor Vazquez were the somewhat unfamiliar names on the scoresheet as Rubin's excellent record against the Spanish giants was abruptly halted. Going into the game, the Russian club were unbeaten against Pep Guardiola's side, having twice drawn and, famously, won one of their meetings last season. But despite facing a heavily-weakened Barca side Rubin were unable to extend that proud record, failing to trouble their illustrious hosts as they exited the competition with barely a whimper. They will however play in the Europa League once continental football resumes next year. With Barca already qualified as Group D winners before kick-off, Guardiola was able to rest most of his starting XI, with Balon d'Or contenders Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta among those left on the bench. Eight out of the Barca players who did take to the field were graduates of the club's academy, indicating a clear faith in the Blaugrana youngsters and suggesting the future of the club, post-Messi, is bright.

FC Copenhagen - Panathinaikos  3-1 (Vingaard - 26th minute, Gronkjaer - 50th minute pen., Cisse - 74th minute; Kante - 90th minute) - FC Copenhagen progressed to the knockout stages of the Champions League with an impressive 3-1 victory over Panathinaikos in Group D at the Parken Stadium. Goals from Martin Vingaard, Jesper Gronkjaer and a Djibril Cisse own goal meant that Copenhagen became the first Danish club to reach the last 16 of the tournament. Cedric Kante grabbed a consolation for the Greek side in added time, but the home team thoroughly deserved the victory, ripping their opponents apart over large spells.

    And here is the continuation:

Bayern - Basel  3-0 (Ribery - 35th minute, Timoschtschuk - 37th minute, Ribery - 50th minute) - Bayern Munich further asserted their authority in Champions League Group E with a comfortable 3-0 victory over FC Basel at the Allianz Arena as the Swiss outfit were forced to settle for a Europa League place. Having already secured top spot prior to kick-off, Bayern boss Louis Van Gaal fielded a strong side and showed no sympathy for their Swiss opponents who could have reached the last 16 of the Champions League with a victory, had Roma lost and not drawn with Cluj. The third spot was something of a consolation for Basel, however, as a victory for Cluj would have seen them finish bottom of the table. Franck Ribery and Anatoliy Tymoschuk did the damage in a prolific spell ahead of the half-time break before the Frenchman added a third goal just after the restart.

Cluj - Roma  1-1 (Traore - 88th minute; Borriello - 21st minute) - Roma sealed their safe passage into the last 16 of the Champions League despite being held to a 1-1 draw by CFR Cluj in Romania. Marco Borriello's clinical finish on a lightning-quick break gave Roma a first-half lead, and despite Lacina Traore's equaliser two minutes from time, Claudio Ranieri's side won through to the knockout phase of the tournament for the fourth time in the last five seasons. With just three points from their previous five Group E games, Cluj's campaign was already over before kick-off, leaving the onus firmly on the visitors in Romania, who needed a draw or better to be assured of qualification. Yet Cluj, who were not even playing for a Europa League spot, acquitted themselves admirably during what was an evenly-matched first half in a half-empty Stadionul Dr. Constantin Radulescu. As it was, even had Cluj won the game, it would not have affected Roma's involvement in the tournament as Basel dropped to a 3-0 defeat in Bayern, allowing the Giallorossi to progress to the knockout phase regardless. The Swiss side took third place in Group E and must settle for a place in the Europa League.

Marseille - Chelsea  1-0 (Brandao - 81st minute) - Didier Drogba was denied a joyful return to Marseille as Chelsea lost 1-0 in their Champions League dead rubber at the Stade Velodrome. With both sides already qualified - Chelsea as group winners - the final match of Group F was of little importance on paper, but Brandao's close-range winner nine minutes from time struck another blow to the Premier League champions' already-fragile confidence. Drogba received a heroes' welcome on his first match back at the club on which he left an indelible mark despite spending just one season there, but he again looked out of sorts as his search for a first goal from open play since October continues, while his team looked a long way short of being serious contenders for European glory. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti fielded a strong side, despite there being nothing riding on the match except the opportunity to become the fifth club to complete a group stage with a 100 per cent record, with young midfielder Josh McEachran the only second-string selection. The results pages may show this match as insignificant, but in reality it is another blow for Ancelotti and his team to overcome.

Zilina - Spartak Moscow  1-2 (Majtan - 48th minute; Alex - 54th minute, Ibson - 61st minute) - Ten-man Spartak Moscow came from behind to beat MSK Zilina 2-1 away from home in a Champions League Group F game that was marred by crowd trouble. After just four minutes of the dead rubber, referee Kevin Blom ordered the players off the Pod Dubnon field for their own safety after flares were thrown onto the pitch, landing near the Spartak keeper Andriy Dykan. Once play resumed following a 20-minute suspension Spartak dominated, but it was Zilina who took the lead through a Tomas Majtan header just after the restart. The visitors drew level just six minutes later when Alex finished a surging Spartak counter attack with a clinical finish into the far corner. And victory was theirs when on 61 minutes Ibson tucked away Alex’s first time cross to finish another fluid move by the away side. Ibson’s joy at scoring the winner though was short lived as he received his marching orders for a high tackle. The decision by the Dutch referee was harsh given that Ibson took the ball, and a yellow would have been ample punishment. Spartak ensure that they finish their Champions League campaign on a high, but the game is more likely to be remembered for the violence that marred it.

Real Madrid - Auxerre - 4-0 (Benzema - 12th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo - 49th minute, Benzema - 72nd minute, Benzema - 88th minute) - A hat-trick from Karim Benzema meant Real Madrid ended their Champions League Group G campaign with a 4-0 victory over Auxerre at the Bernabeu. The home side looked comfortable from the off, and Benzema's header gave them an early lead. Auxerre rallied to stay in touch at the interval, but a powerful finish from Cristiano Ronaldo early in the second half put Real back in control, and Benzema struck two more to put the gloss on a comfortable victory for the men in white. With qualification and top spot in Group G already assured, Jose Mourinho selected a considerably weakened side for the clash, giving an opportunity to a number of fringe players at the Bernabeu. He was not on the touchline to see how they fared against a full-strength Auxerre, as the Portuguese manager was completing a touchline ban for misconduct after the events of their previous match in the group against Ajax. But even without the manager and several of their star players, the hosts began in positive and confident fashion.

Milan - Ajax  0-2 (de Zeeuw - 57th minute, Alderweireld - 66th minute) - Frank de Boer saw his Ajax side pull off a thoroughly deserved 2-0 victory against Milan in the San Siro to claim third place in Champions League Group G. Superb strikes by Demy de Zeeuw and Toby Alderweireld were enough for Ajax to book a place in the Europa League as caretaker boss De Boer enhanced his prospects of replacing Martin Jol on a permanent basis. The Dutch side regained some of their traditional swagger with Christian Eriksen looking a class act in midfield. Already-qualified Milan, who started with Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the bench, were lacklustre in comparison with Brazilian strike duo Robinho and Ronaldinho particularly frustrating. Ajax were excellent and they have the Europa League to look forward to and, surely, de Boer to take over the reins on a permanent basis.

Arsenal - Partizan  3-1 (van Persie - 30th minute pen., Walcott - 73rd minute, Nasri - 77th minute; Cleo - 52nd minute) - Arsenal secured a place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a 3-1 victory against Partizan Belgrade at the Emirates Stadium. Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott and Samir Nasri scored the goals but with Shakhtar Donetsk beating Braga the Gunners have to settle for second spot in Group H and a clash with one of the seeds in the knock-out round. The Gunners should have already been in the last 16 after scoring 14 goals in their opening three victories but successive away defeats at Shakhtar Donetsk and Braga meant they had to at least match the result of the Portuguese team to progress. And there were some nervy faces around the Emirates when Cleo's 52nd minute strike cancelled out Robin van Persie's penalty on the half hour. But substitute Walcott restored the hosts' lead 17 minutes from time with man-of-the-moment Nasri sealing the victory four minutes later. Arsenal were never at their fluent best but the result means they reach the last 16 of Europe's premier club competition for the 11th year in succession.

Shakhtar Donetsk - Sporting Braga  2-0 (Rat - 78th minute, Luiz Adriano - 83rd minute) - Razvan Rat and Luiz Adriano struck late to hand Shakhtar Donetsk top spot in Champions League Group H with a 2-0 home victory over Sporting Braga. Shakhtar went into the game top of the group and assured of qualification unless they lost by four goals and Arsenal beat Partizan Belgrade. Rat and Adriano hit two quick-fire goals to ensure the Ukrainian side finished first ahead of Arsenal, with Braga third and forced to settle for a place in the Europa League.

I'll post the final standings and more info on next week's draw probably tomorrow.

Here's how the final standings look like:

    Group A

    1. Tottenham - 11 points
    2. Inter - 10 points
    3. Twente - 6 points
    4. Werder - 5 points

Tottenham did good job in this very solid group (group of death in my opinion). The defending champions Inter were disappointing, but still managed to qualify for Last 16. Twente made a good performance and deserved their place in EL, while Werder were the big disappointment. I expected them to pass the group along with Inter, but they could not, and also could not finish 3rd.

    Group B

    1. Schalke - 13 points
    2. Lyon - 10 points
    3. Benfica - 6 points
    4. Hapoel Tel Aviv - 5 points

This was also another interesting group. Schalke made a very good performance, finishing first. I didn't expect that from them. Lyon managed to qualify for the next round, too, which was expected. Benfica disappointed a little bit, I thought they would go to Last 16 along with Lyon, but they instead ended up 3rd, and have to thank Lyon, because they were 5 minutes away from finishing 4th. As for Hapoel, nobody expected anything big from them. They grabbed 5 points, though, which is good for them.

    Group C

    1. Manchester United - 14 points
    2. Valencia - 11 points
    3. Rangers - 6 points
    4. Bursaspor - 1 point

Nothing unusual happened here. United topped the group, and the other big gun, Valencia, finished 2nd. Valencia was close to ending up 1st, but United scored and that's the way it is. Rangers tried to stay close to them, but the class of the top 2 teams was big. Bursaspor could not show what they are really capable of. They only snatched 1 point.

    Group D

    1. Barcelona - 14 points
    2. FC Copenhagen - 10 points
    3. Rubin - 6 points
    4. Panathinaikos - 2 points

This was probably the dumbest group of all. With 1 clear favourite, Barcelona, it was the 2nd place here that was up for grabs. Barca indeed finished 1st. And Rubin's poor offense proved enough to let Copenhagen grab the 2nd place in their debut season. Panathinaikos only got 2 points and could not pass Rubin and Copenhagen. I think the Danish team will be the most wanted team for the draw.

    Group E

    1. Bayern - 15 points
    2. Roma - 10 points
    3. Basel - 6 points
    4. Cluj - 4 points

Bayern played very solid and only lost 1 match, and of course they finished 1st without problems. There was a battle for the 2nd place, but Roma showed their class and grabbed that spot. Basel tried to match Roma, but could not and eventually go to EL. Cluj got only 4 points which was not enough to move them to 3rd.

    Group F

    1. Chelsea - 15 points
    2. Marseille - 12 points
    3. Spartak Moscow - 9 points
    4. Zilina - 0 points

Just like Bayern, Chelsea only lost 1 match and that settled them to 1st place. Marseille beat Spartak 3-0 in Moscow and that was more than enough to send them to the 2nd place and show Spartak that they would have to settle for 3rd. Zilina could not win any point here and finish bottom.

    Group G

    1. Real Madrid - 16 points
    2. Milan - 8 points
    3. Ajax - 7 points
    4. Auxerre - 3 points

Real became the most convincing team in the group stage by gaining 16 points, 5 wins and 1 draw. They surely deserved the 1st place. Milan grabbed the 2nd place, while Ajax had to settle for 3rd and EL. If Ajax had not lost in France against Auxerre they would have grabbed the 2nd spot. However, the French team did nothing here but only prevented Ajax from gaining 2nd place by winning their only match and points against them.

    Group H

    1. Shakhtar Donetsk - 15 points
    2. Arsenal - 12 points
    3. Sporting Braga - 9 points
    4. Partizan - 0 points

Shakhtar played solid in this group, excluding their game against Arsenal in London when they were thrashed. With only 1 loss they grabbed the 1st place. Arsenal should have been 1st, but their loss to Braga in Portugal was crucial and they had to settle for 2nd. Braga were the pleasant surprise here by gaining 9 points in their debut season. They will play in EL next year. Partizan did not get any point and are bottom.

So that's it. The group stage is over and we are down to the intriguing knockout phase. I'll post the possible opponents of every team in the Last 16 below:

    Tottenham - Lyon/Valencia/FC Copenhagen/Roma/Marseille/Milan
    Schalke - Inter/Valencia/FC Copenhagen/Roma/Marseille/Milan/Arsenal
    Manchester United - Inter/Lyon/FC Copenhagen/Roma/Marseille/Milan
    Barcelona - Inter/Lyon/Roma/Marseille/Milan/Arsenal
    Bayern - Inter/Lyon/Valencia/FC Copenhagen/Marseille/Milan/Arsenal
    Chelsea - Inter/Lyon/Valencia/FC Copenhagen/Roma/Milan
    Real Madrid - Inter/Lyon/FC Copenhagen/Roma/Marseille/Arsenal
    Shakhtar Donetsk - Inter/Lyon/Valencia/FC Copenhagen/Roma/Marseille/Milan

    Inter - Schalke/Manchester United/Barcelona/Bayern/Chelsea/Real Madrid/Shakhtar Donetsk
    Lyon - Tottenham/Manchester United/Barcelona/Bayern/Chelsea/Real Madrid/Shakhtar Donetsk
    Valencia - Tottenham/Schalke/Bayern/Chelsea/Shakhtar Donetsk
    FC Copenhagen - Tottenham/Schalke/Manchester United/Bayern/Chelsea/Real Madrid/Shakhtar Donetsk
    Roma - Tottenham/Schalke/Manchester United/Barcelona/Chelsea/Real Madrid/Shakhtar Donetsk
    Marseille - Tottenham/Schalke/Manchester United/Barcelona/Bayern/Real Madrid/Shakhtar Donetsk
    Milan - Tottenham/Schalke/Manchester United/Barcelona/Bayern/Chelsea/Shakhtar Donetsk
    Arsenal - Schalke/Barcelona/Bayern/Real Madrid

I hope that all matches will be interesting and we won't watch dumb games like Shakhtar - Copenhagen for instance. Arsenal have only 4 possible opponents - Barcelona,Real Madrid,Schalke and Bayern. I'm sure they want Schalke, or if not them, Bayern. Valencia have 5 possible opponents - Tottenham, Schalke, Bayern, Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk. I'm sure they won't want Chelsea and probably Bayern. They will also like a match with Schalke, and probably Tottenham and Shakhtar. The draw is next friday.
