I sit here awaiting my death. It’s only a matter of time. How am I so sure. Because my wife won’t be able to see me anymore. I’ve become too small, and I’m sitting her in one of her high heeled sandals. Supposedly awaiting the beginning of my day to service her feet and toes.

It didn’t start this way. I shrunk slowly over time. More and more though, as I got smaller, my wife dominated me more more. Calling me ‘insect, and ‘speck’. Eventually she dropped all pretense of concern about my safety. I suppose it was inevitable. I mean who really cares about tiny ants at one’s feet?

Speaking of feet, I was forced to pamper hers. She claimed it was the only thing I was good for now. I would massage her giant feet and toes and polish her toenails. After I shrank below an inch, she had to do them herself again. I was too small to hold the brushes. She seemed to actually hold that against me. As if I somehow hastened the shrinking process on purpose.

She also used to carry me into stores when she wanted to get new sandals. She claimed she liked to show my pedicures. She really liked to keep me pinned under her toes, and watch me suffer. The pressure of her huge foot would be almost unbearable. I was afraid she crush me like a grape.

A week or so ago, I shrank to ¼ of an inch. I could do nothing to stop her. She picked me up with her long nails. Laughed openly at me. I was practically deafened. “I guess in a few more days, I won’t even be able to see you any more, little man.” That was one of the milder things she called me. “Let’s see how I can humiliate you today. I know. Let’s see if my littlest toe can keep you pinned.” She proceeded to stuff me between the sole of her sandal, and her toe, but left my head exposed. The thing was easily twice my size, and felt like it weighed a hundred pounds.

She then stood up, and I marveled at how tall she looked from down here. Easily over 1000 feet tall. “God you look so fucking pitiful down there. How does it feel you stupid ****? How does it feel, to be controlled by your wife’s toes? I should just squish you now, and wash what’s left of you down the tub.”

I felt the pressure increas for a moment. “Nah. You ain’t serviced me enough yet. Stay there for a while though.” I was pinned for hours. Karla went to visit her friends. She had me declared dead, and collected the millions I had in insurance. She didn’t have to work for a while.

I know what you’re thinking. Why don’t I escape? I should have. Months ago, maybe. But then? At 1/4 of an inch? I’d be squashed probably within hours. Better the devil you know, than the one you don’t. She saw Dolores first, then Stacey. Both commented on her pedicure. Her only response was, ‘It’s my little secret.’ Dolores like red polish, while Stacy liked pink colors. Karla’s was currently a French pedicure, which I had painstakingly painted the white strip, over several hours, only a day before, when I was a measly 1/2 of an inch.

Now, I’m not even sure how small I am. Every so often the process speeds up. I went from 4 feet to 1 foot. I went frm 6 inches to 1 inch. Now last night I was ¼ inch. I woke up early from the tingling.

I saw the straps of Karla’s sandals start becoming wider, then they started rising into the sky. I was somewhere down where the ball of her foot would lay, so I started running. I made it all the way to were her toes would lay, when I stopped.

I sat down and thought about what would happen. Hell, I could predict it. Karla would wake up look down and see the shoe was empty, and she would be pissed. She had placed me here as a test. She used to keep me in pumps that were difficult to escape from. But give time I could. Now, this ‘prison’ was more a gesture of contempt. I was told to stay put on the sandal all night long, and that in the morning, I would begin my torment to spend the entire day underfoot.

It was a platform sandal. The platform was about 1/2 inch high, so I could easily climb down and get away. I think that was part of the humiliation. She could so easily dominate me, that she no longer need to drop me in a pump to keep me penned up. She simply had to tell me not to move. I was too small and scared to do much else. Until the shrinking started again.

I could probably still try to run. But how high was the platform now? I could barely climb out of her toeprints. Would I be able to jump? If so, how long would I last? Karla wouldn’t spend too long looking for me. She’d assume I’d run off finally. Or something worse. I figured being squished under her toes, would let her have one last thrill. If she even felt me. Hey, wouldn’t that be a hoot? She’s wanted to squish me for months, and now, when she finally does, she won’t even know it.

I can’t stand the waiting anymore. I just want it over. Oh, there she goes! She’s awake. My god! Was that her foot? I can’t see anything down here. “Are you still there, maggot? Ready to get under my perfect toes?” Her head sort of came into focus. “Gone.” She paused, and I could almost hear her rage build. “You stupid tiny ****! I’ll fucking turn you into goo! Get back here, and prostrate yourself before me, you speck!” Her mass disappeared. She was going to get dressed.

The sandal shook several times, but I was so small, the tremors did nothing. I was a little afraid the sandal wouuld fall over, and I would have to hide in the carpet for another chance. But she didn’t stomp. Just walked heavily. All the while, swearing that I was dead meat, and she would crush me until I was dead.

I couldn’t really see anything. I had no way to judge that, even though she was across the room, whether that distance was better measured still in feet, or miles. Finally after a few minutes she approached again. This was it. The final day.

I could see movement off to my left. She must have putting the other on first. Now, it comes. Her right foot. I can finally guess how tiny I am. My god! Look at it! I…I…holy ****! That thing must be 350 feet tall! And that’s her middle toe. It’s caught on the moist leather. She’s wriggling her toes forward, trying to get the sandal to fit just so.. Karla! Karla! Don’t squish me!!! Oh ****!!!

What happened? Where am I? Oh god! I’m trapped in her toe flesh. The ridge of her toe print! My god, I must be no bigger than a grain of sand. I can’t even get squished easily. I’m so tiny I fit into the ridges of a toe print. I wonder if she’ll ever find me. I wonder if she’ll ever look.
