Hello friends. I was just wondering what is going on with our tickling board. When I scroll down the time back to 2008/2009 and even some part of 2010 I see a lot of 'new' posts including awesome videos from various top producers in c4s. Now I see only ...what word should I use....I don't want to heard anybody but I don't feel it like before. For example I din't see guys like tklbrazil and Nishii posting videos. Is this is caused because of world finance crisis or something... I want some day (hope soon) when I came here to see topics from different members, with new great videos...Even sometimes I am asking myself a question...where did everybody go...

As with most things i guess, we have good and bad times,

We are in a world at the moment where money is tight (at least for the UK). There's loads of clips that i want to buy, but money issues prevent me. Obviously i cant speak for everyone, especially for the few who still post great, new material (snickerskicker comes to mind).

Don't worry though, the worlds still spinning, and I'm sure the Tickling board will get some life chucked back into it after this "anti-piracy" fiasco's blown over

A lot of folks that were around here when I started here are no longer here and/or as active.  I think that comes from a variety of things.  Money may be a factor in getting less stuff posted here, but so can life situations for various members (new jobs, new families, new hobbies, new expenses - all can shift time/money away from places like this).

Things constantly change; that is the way of life.  We can only hope more people come here and assume the mantles of the people that have set them aside.

Truth be told, I think a lot of guys who used to be regulars here have been getting their fix from blogs in the past year or so. Many of the posts on this board over this time have been reposts from those same blogs I know I don't buy many clips nowadays due to lack of spare cash, not much catching my eye and I don't put up stuff that's already posted - which is why I haven't upped anything for some time

SAFF is a great place though, I shall try to post more rather than just sending K in stealth mode

The blogs make it very easy for guys to get hold of a lot of the more prominent producer's clips, but tickle clips have been uploaded to the internet since before the days of emule, DC++, kazaa etc. SAFF has a community though - it will always have a big advantage over p2p/http/torrents in this respect

Exactly, this was the only place i felt truly comfortable to be in. Perhaps it was due to the moderators making me feel so welcome at the time, yes i mean you SF

But honestly, I think it helps when a community such as the Tickling board is modded by people who have the same tastes as the members. That's not to say its all down to the mods, its a shame so many of the older members haven't really been very active in the last year or so. But as SF said, work commitments and social life will of course always take priority.

I think a lot of people went away when the tickling video guy opened his blog. It was too easy to go on there and DL for days. If you look at forum participation in general, 90% of the members are here to grab videos only. 10% of the members post content, give karma or comment.

.... well, should prolly throw my two cents in, as this is the first day my internet has been back up since about a week ago.....

..... back when I was posting regularly, I had a job. It wasn't a great job, but it more than payed for everything I needed, including clips........ but that job didn't last, and I got fired...... now I'm back in college, eating ramen noodles every night, and trying to figure out how I'm gonna fill my gas tank from week to week to even drive to class..... so, yeah, the financial crisis definitely hit me close to home, and I haven't bought a clip in quite some time....... I definitely want to, since lately, only a handful of clips that are posted are really my "taste".... but that's life, can't always get what you want......

..... anyway, just wanted to clear that up.... I'm sure a lot of people have been absorbed by "the blogs".... but a lot of us just don't have the money anymore to buy clips while still keeping a roof over our heads....... it's hard times right now..... really hard times....
