this uploader packs together big clips that don't have anything related with each other, to just force you to download even bigger files, he does this just to make things harder so one should be encouraged to pay for rapidgator service or because bigger files= more rewards anyway... personally I stopped to download from him all together, I'm not falling into his trap

anyway,can you do something about this unfair behaviour?

IMO this is against SAFF Rules Packing several totally UNRELATED videos which are also each VERY large into a HUGE multipart archive which forces the user to download all files does not make sense.

In the example you mention:
4-part RAR archive of 3.269 MB which contains 3 large unrelated videos (1.48 GB + 644 MB + 1.07 GB).

Not even to mention that that user used the worstof the worst filehosts among all popular filehosts and IIRC free users can't even download such large Rapidgator files (and therefore the filehost tag is wrong too) and anyway, downloads of large Rapidgator files tend to fail anyway.

The only case where it is legit to pack several videos in the same SINGLE PART archive concerns very small videos, for example packing 5 videos of 20 MB each into a single 100 MB RAR file is welcome. In such case the videos don't necessarily need to be related to each other (i.e. being part of the same set), though it is usually the case.

Also splitting videos in unnecessarily small parts just to make more cash is prohibitied by SAFF Rule #20 but unfortunately that rule cannot be enforced (those cash posters always find a lousy pretext to split files).

yeah I forgot to say that I reported months ago one of his posts, pointing out that he does like this with all of his posts in the hairy board, but my report got ignored, so I'm trying this way

and of course I agree that rapidgator is awful  

I don't know if those files are "premium only" because I didn't even bother to download them and therefore make him a favor

If you are referring to the original post, all three of those are "hairy" girls and that topic is posted in the hairy women board.  So yes, they are "related".  If you don't like how the member posts, his content, or the host that he uses, simply ignore his topics.

If I'm not understanding or seeing what you are trying report, let me know.

As to your last report, I doubt it was ignored, but members cannot see how the reported topics are handled.  You have numerous reports, all appear to be resolved.  Which one are you referring to?

Under "unrelated" I meant videos which weren't part of the same set, like for example large videos released by their original publisher in several separately sold parts. I was not referring to a mix of videos which should have been posted in different SAFF boards due to their different content.


Referring to rules, despite being (IMO) against some unwritten general fairness rule, if we split hairs we could consider following rules:

SAFF Rule #17:
(...) Each video/content requires its own direct link to an approved file share host (...)

SAFF Rule #27:
When posting multiple clips in one thread please post 1 clip only in your Start Topic and use Reply Post for each additional clip.

Therfore basically it is not allowed to post several disctinctive videos in the same post and as each post must include the link(s) and the preview for the material posted in that post, the discussed post is formally against SAFF rules because the 3 videos should have been posted in 3 different posts (also Rule #19 isn't relevant as files are objectively large).


And anyway, regardless of the rules, such behavior should not be tolerated because it's against the spirit of SAFF.

I understand they are not the same girl.  However, they are all from the same source (ATK Hairy). 

This is not specifically spelled out in the rules, and this issue has come up before.  There are numerous active topics here at SAFF which are basically all of the content from a given site, and they are all packaged into a single file (ie: multiple RAR files as in this topic).  I agree that it's not the preferred method of sharing, but it's allowed (at least at the moment).  So taking action on this one topic would mean affect more than just this one topic.

As to your last report, it was resolved with the same information that I provided here.  Which is that it is currently not against the rules to post multiple files in a single RAR.  And the member is supplying the preview to each included file.

Also, file hosts that pay, don't pay by the amount of data downloaded, they pay by the number of downloads.  In other words, a person that shares three files that are 10MB each, will earn more money that a member that shares one file which is 2GB (assuming each file is downloaded once).

anyway from an uploader's perspective is more convenient to pack all together so who downloads is forced to download all the files, not just one and it pays the uploader, as most downloaders are...well they don't have the courage to say "no, I won't do it" and they download just the same

I politely disagree with MrAngry's position.

If we refer strictly to rules, which is the way things are done on SAFF when cases are discussed and I know myself as I've been moderating a couple of SAFF boards a long time ago, I still consider that according to the current wording of the mentioned rules such posting behavior is formally forbidden.

As SAFF rules are often enforced hard and fast in many cases where there could be discussions about their fairness, in this specific case I'd consider that things are clear enough to strictly enforce those rules.

BTW There were various other issues with that poster in the past but it's not my role to discuss details and especially not publicly.

I can't remember a former issue with that member which was related to packing several unrelated videos in the same archive.

In a few cases in the past there were moderator interventions but as it was quite some time a ago I don't remember the details.

Overall I'd have liked to hear from a moderator if the way I interpreted the discussed SAFF rules is correct or not as IMO though there is not a specific rules forbidding it to pack several unrelated files in the same archive, several other SAFF rules, combined together, prohibit that.
