2 GB for a 6 minute clip is insane. I download 1080p movies all the time which are over 2 hours long, for just 1.4 GB. What's going on.?

Probably because the studio picked bad compression settings for the video. Even when using a good codec (video is h264), if you set a too high bitrate, or quality parameter, the video will take a lot of unneeded space. With the right settings, that video should be around 100 or 200 Mb, with almost the same quality. But studios don't usually know a lot about these things...

I'm downloading it, and I'll reencode it for anyone who would like a smaller version.

do not use keep2share. It is much too slow.
mega.nz is much faster and for free.
